Chasteuil
resembles a jewel nestled in the hills
The charm of stone, the embrace of forest, and just enough winding road to make every arrival feel earned.
This aerial view captures its essence perfectly—a micro‑village with a macro soul, made for travelers who value authenticity over convenience.
Perched above the Verdon, Chasteuil is a tiny hamlet where the landscape suddenly opens into sweeping cliffs and quiet terraces. It has a timeless, almost suspended quality, as if the village is listening to the river far below.
Stone houses, narrow paths, and the scent of wild herbs give it a gentle, lived‑in charm. It’s the kind of place where silence feels intentional, not empty.

Vos hôtes / Your hosts
Pascal & Nancy
Pascal and Nancy have been welcoming travelers to Chasteuil since 1995. This Californian‑Norman couple met in the village and fell in love—both with each other and with this remarkable place. Over the years, they lovingly restored the century‑old schoolhouse and town hall, transforming them into a charming bed & breakfast that has hosted guests from around the world for nearly three decades.
In 2018, they expanded their accommodations by restoring part of Chasteuil’s 17th‑century château. The result is a well‑equipped, authentically renovated holiday home offering guests an unforgettable stay in one of Provence’s most picturesque hamlets.

May 2025 - Stayed a week
We absolutely loved our host Pascal and his village of Chasteuil.
We had a wonderful stay, not only because of the beauty and tranquility of Chasteuil, but especially thanks to Pascal, who truly embodies its spirit. Pascal is a lovely person, always available and in good spirits. He recommended some beautiful hikes and shared the history of the village with us.
The studio is ideally located on the GR4 hiking trail. The photos are accurate, and we also had access to the common areas, including a large kitchen and a beautiful veranda with a magnificent view.
We recommend it 200% and hope to return soon.
Thank you for everything, Pascal!

August 2025 - Stayed a few nights
Excellent communication; even before arriving, Nancy sent us very useful directions to reach the place, written in Italian to make it even easier for us to understand.
When we arrived, we had a doubt about the route, and in real time Nancy and Pascal answered us, and when we arrived, they were already ready to welcome us personally.
The place is special, the panorama is sublime, and the people who frequent it make the experience even more unforgettable.
Breakfast is excellent, always fresh products.
Pascal gave us a lot of advice to our liking to make the most of the area.
We left our hearts there, and we'll go back! Highly recommended!!! 😉!

June 2025—Stayed a few nights
Super friendly welcome and a very nice room with a good view. The driveway is a bit narrow but still easily accessible by car. Very quiet area: you only hear the birds and maybe a few insects. Good starting point for hikes. Communication was always friendly, and I felt very comfortable there. A great place to forget about everyday life.
